Online Blackjack Michigan

Blackjack is probably the most popular card game in which the object of the game is to try and beat the dealer by having a hand that has more points than the dealer's hand without going over 21 points (known as 'bust').

Both player and dealer receive 2 cards, with one of the dealer's card's face up.

Cards numbered 2 to 10 are worth their face value in points, Jack, Queen and King are worth 10 points, and the Ace can be worth either 1 or 11.

The object of the game is to beat the dealer by having a hand that is worth more points than the dealer's hand, without going over 21 points.

The game begins with each player receiving two cards, which are dealt face up. The dealer also receives two cards, but one is face down.

The player can decide from his 2 cards whether to 'hit' and receive an additional card, or "stand" and hope his cards numbers are closer to 21 than the dealer.

Players can continue to hit or stand in an attempt to get as close to 21 as possible. If the player goes over 21 he is bust and will lose his wager.

There are rules and options in the game such as when the dealer must stick, allowing players to split if they have 2 cards with the same face value, doubling down and more.

Both land-based and online casinos in Michigan run a number of variations of the classic version such as Blackjack Switch and Spanish 21.

Michigan Online Roulette

Roulette is another popular table game played by betting on where you think the ball will land on the spinning wheel. Players simply place their bets on the roulette table, usually numbered 0-36, including 18 red numbers and 18 black numbers. Once all bets are placed, the dealer spins the wheel and rolls in the ball. To win, players must have made a bet that includes or matches the winning number and/or color of the slot the ball landed in.

The amount won will depend on what the bet type was (e.g. individual number or black v red) and in accordance with the payout table.

There are a number of variations to this classic table game such as:

  •  European Roulette - the traditional version with 37 numbered slots from 0-36,
  • American Roulette - which includes another zero to increase the house edge and therefore has 38 numbered slots.
  • Mini Roulette in which there are only 13 numbered slots.

Let It Ride

Based on five-card stud poker, Let it Ride is a popular table game played in Michigan and across the US.

It is unique in that players can withdraw their bets as the game unfolds.

Firstly, each player must place three equal bets and in turn will receive three cards (1 for each bet) and two community cards (face down)

Players then look at their three cards and decide whether to "let it ride" or take back one of their bets. They can only take back one bet if they choose to do so.

One of the community cards is then revealed and players again decide to maintain their bets or withdraw one of the bets / cards.

The objective is to make the best five-poker hand possible against other players at the table with the highest payout typically being reserved for a royal flush.

Craps

Craps is a popular dice based table game played at many casinos in Michigan.

The game starts with the player rolling the dice (the 'shooter') making a "pass" or "don't pass" bet.

The roll of the dice determines which of the following eventualities occur:

  • 7 or 11 - the pass bet wins and the don't pass bet loses.
  • 2, 3, or 12 - the don't pass bet wins and the pass bet loses.
  • 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, or 10 - that number becomes the "point" and the shooter continues rolling the dice until they either roll the point again (in which case the pass bet wins) or they roll a 7 (in which case the pass bet loses).

Other players at the table can also bet on the outcome after the first roll of the dice has been made.

Online Baccarat Michigan

Baccarat is a casino table game played between the player and the banker.

The game starts with the player making a bet on either the player or the banker will win or if the hands will be tied

Two cards are then dealt to the player and the banker. The values of the cards are added together, and the hand with a total closest to 9 wins

The card values are as follows:

  • Cards 2-9 are worth their face value
  • 10s, Jacks, Queens and Kings are worth 0
  • Aces are worth 1

If the total value of the hand is greater than 9, then the first digit is dropped. For example, a hand with a 6 and a 5 would have a total value of 1 (6+5=11, and the first digit is dropped).

The player's hand wins if it has a total value of 8 or 9.

If the player's hand has a total value of 6 or 7, then they must stand and the banker's hand is revealed. If the banker's hand has a total value of 6 or 7, then the banker must also stand.

If however, either the player or the banker's hand has a total value of less than 5 then

What is Online Poker in Michigan?

Online poker in Michigan is a game played by two or more players with a standard deck of 52 cards. The objective of the game is to win the pot of money or chips that players bet during the game by presenting the hand with the highest value.

During the game, each player is dealt a number of cards from which they try to create the best possible hand.

After the initial bets, community cards are added to allow players to build a stronger hand and continue to make bets and increase the pot.

Players can deploy a variety of tactics during the game by either remaining as the last players with the best hand, or bluffing their rivals with a weaker hand but increasing the bets in an effort to force other players to fold.

Due to its popularity, there are a number of variants at both land-based and online casinos in Michigan for players to enjoy:

  • Texas Hold 'em - This is the most popular variation of poker.
  • Five Card Draw - A classic form of poker in which each player is dealt five cards and can exchange any number of them for new cards to try to make the best possible hand.
  • Omaha -  Where players are dealt four cards instead of two and must use two of those cards with the three community cards in an attempt to make the best hand possible
  • Seven Card Stud - Another classic variation in which players are dealt seven cards, with the first two and the seventh card dealt face down, and the remaining four cards dealt face up.

It's important to note that different rooms and poker games have different table limits that allow you to play online poker and a level that is comfortable and doesn't leave you exposed financially.
